About Me…

Hi. I am Debbie (Moeckler) Berman ‘84. I am running for re-election to the HF school board so I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

HF has been an important part of my life and my family for a long time. We moved to Homewood more than 50 years ago. I attended Flossmoor schools and then HF, graduating in 1984. While at HF, I benefitted from all of the opportunities offered, including strong academics and amazing extracurriculars. I was on the debate team and Mathletes just to name a few. Why I Serve…

My HF service is one of the most fulfilling things I do because it is all about the kids and their success. I am dedicated to ensuring that all students who attend HF achieve their highest potential and are well prepared for their steps after HF whatever those steps may be — four or two year college, the military, vocational training or a job. That means that we need to offer strong academics, well rounded extracurriculars and strong social/emotional support for the students. Read more>>
